Housing programs with controlled-cost were widely developed in Portugal until the 1990s. It was here that architects were able to "try" housing typologies that could integrate people of different backgrounds and habits, seeking to resolve with architecture. Cape Verde announced a program called "Casa Para Todos". The project is located in Praia Municipality, Santiago Island, Cape Verde, and aims to build a set of 250 houses of social interest. The implantation of the Buildings was defined by a Master Plan, so the program consisted of 250 dwellings, commercial spaces, gardens and streets, within a value of around €360/m2.
